| What does it say about one's life when the FUN one has consists of sitting on the front porch next to a dear one - IMing? SIGH Oh, my. Yes, that was silly and fun. And it was with one of my favorite people.

| VBS is done!!! A good time - hopefully some great gospel seeds planted. Great teens and adults helping out. YEAH!!!! (DEEP BREATH....... SIGH)

| Boy, that last entry sounded depressed! Yup, guess that was where I was at that day.
I love spring. The smell of lilacs remind me of one of the happy moments of my childhood/youth days on the farm. May 1 was my dad's birthday. Ya, he would have been 90 this year. Anyway, the lilacs were teasing to come out on his birthday, but sometimes they got a bit of frost on them. I love the smell of lilacs and the flowering crab trees.
On the other hand......... I DO NOT like moles and the piles of dirt they leave - oh, and the trenches in the flower beds and along the sidewalk. I want them to leave!!!!
I still love spring. I have been working in the dirt nearly every night this week.

| Our God LIVES!!!!! YEAH!!!! Sometimes I think we depend on the church services to determine if we have a good Easter or not. Yes, they can help - a lot sometimes! BUT we should be able to have EASTER in our hearts in our own worship of our living Savior. I'm not saying to stay home from church services - just to know that if it doesn't fire you up, we need to take responsibility ourselves to worship. SIGH Can you tell I'm still tired from my journey? |
